Haden Calegan is the co-founder of Modal, a platform that delivers tailored insights into your coffee grinder's performance by analyzing grind size consistency. With a passion for perfecting the brewing experience, Haden is dedicated to helping coffee lovers elevate their daily rituals.
Equipped with a strong background in mechanical engineering and advanced manufacturing, Haden has always been fascinated by the potential of technology to transform industries and improve everyday life. This curiosity has fueled his drive to develop and refine Modal's groundbreaking solutions for coffee enthusiasts.
Haden is a swammer (former swimmer for the uninitiated) and enjoys swimming with his local masters team. He also enjoys spending quality time with his blue heeler, Tabasco, exploring the great outdoors and sharing in life's simple pleasures.
Dilan Orrino
Co-Founder
Dilan has a degree in engineering but has worked as a product manager for his professional career. He brings a background in software product design for a unique perspective on software and coffee brewing. He hopes to provide anyone, from a basic drip coffee drinker to the most experience connoisseur, with the tools to brew better tasting coffee.
